==================================================================== Date: 28th of November, 2008 Service Name: "2 Bucks An Ad" advertising service Subscriber Base: 1,500,000+ subscribers Web Site: www.DigitalProductSearch.com/2ba $60 for 1 ad in all groups of ezines reaching the total subscriber base Time tested: once 200+ days ago Guarantee: N/A Comments: I tested the "2 Bucks An Ad" several months ago. I was very interested in the results of this service especially due to their large subscriber base. With over 1.5 million subscribers, I expected at least a 0.01% CTR. However, I was very disappointed with the ending CTR. I bought this service mainly to reach 65 Ezine publishers because after all, they are the ones who publish the ads. As serious as Ezine publishers are about their web businesses, I felt it was a great opportunity to promote my home business opportunity. Believe it or not out of 1.5 million subscribers, I got all of 40 clicks. Even for the worse ad copy you could possibly find, this was way too low. It didn't occur to me that I would get so few clicks, since these ads are published by the hundreds. As I began further investigation on why I didn't at least get 150 clicks, I remembered that many of the newsletter issues are ads only. This means few people are actually paying attention to each individual ad in great detail. Yet, even with that I thought my worse case scenario would be 0.01%. Rating:In value for money, I give the "2 Bucks An Ad" a 7. When it came down to the numbers, my 40 clicks cost $1.50 per click. My average cost for high quality clicks is much lower ranging from $0.70 to $1.10. "2 Bucks An Ad" is way above what I'm used to paying per click. I give the "2 Bucks An Ad" a 5 in value for the money. This system gets a 7 for quality because you can reach 65 Ezine publishers with the ad. This does give you an opportunity for your product or service to be purchased, making more profits. As far as results, the "2 Bucks An Ad" system is given a 6 because many of the ads are published inside ad sheets. This means ads could be buried under another ad that is not relative to your product or service. Your target group may never see your ad or just delete the Ezine without opening it. On the other hand, if they're like me and click on the newsletter, they will still have trouble finding your specific ad because of the hundreds of ads located on a page. The customer service was exceptional and I give "2 Bucks An Ad" an 8 in that area. Conclusion:My guess is the 40 clicks I did receive came from Ezine publishers and not their subscribers. Because the ads are clustered in such a way it makes any ad difficult to find. Most of these advertisers are promoting business opportunities or a well-known advertised product, which most Ezine publishers have very little interest. This makes getting results even more difficult due. Tip:The best advice I can give is to only use this service if and only if you are promoting a product or service that is of interest to Ezine publishers. By keeping this in mind you should have very good results. Rating...
